Why have you decided to serve as a Trailblazer for the JLSA?

I believe healthy long term mental health starts with childhood mental wellness. As a JLSA member I have seen first hand the impact this partnership makes on the community of San Antonio and want to help the advancement of the project. As a mother I care about the resources that are readily available to the public and children of San Antonio and I am proud of the Junior League for advancing San Antonio's mental wellness resources for children.

Who and/or what inspires you to pave a path in our community (be a community leader/participant)?

My parents have always been involved in organizations and have been advocates of making whatever they are involved in better. Seeing your parents be selfless and raising you in an environment where others are put first and to rise up to any occasion has been inspiring and given me encouragement to be a servant leader.
