Danielle Rushing Behrends serves on the Junior League of San Antonio Board of Directors as the Paving New Paths chair for the 2023 centennial campaign. Danielle has been an active member of the Junior League of San Antonio since 2017, served as the assistant chair for the Paving New Paths 2022 campaign, and was named the New Member of the Year during her provisional year. 

Danielle is a senior attorney at Dykema Gossett PLLC (formerly Dykema Cox Smith), focusing her practice on resourceful, creative, and effective in and out of court restructuring advice. She looks for practical solutions and works to build a strategic plan that aligns with her client’s needs. Her experience includes several multi-million dollar businesses, particularly in the oil and gas/energy, retail, national fitness chain, healthcare, and transportation industries, Chapter 11 Trustees, and a federal court-appointed receiver. Danielle is a graduate of Louisiana State University and St. Mary's University School of Law.

Outside of the Junior League of San Antonio, Danielle is the Immediate Past President of the Bexar County Women's Bar Association and Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Legal Services Association, which provides free civil legal services to those with limited means and those who are vulnerable or at-risk.
